Is ShapeScale safe to use?

ShapeScale is safe to use for most people. The device uses the following methods to scan the body:

  • Low-power infrared light: This is a harmless type of light that measures the depth and shape of the body. It is similar to the light used in remote controls or night vision cameras.
  • RGB: This is a standard type of light that captures the color and texture of the body. It is similar to the light used in regular cameras or smartphones.
  • Since ShapeScale does notuse any bioelectrical impedance, it is safe to use for pregnant women and those with pacemakers, metal implants, or other medical devices. ShapeScale also does not use any high-energy radiation such as x-ray.
