When do I need to pair my ShapeScale?

You need to pair your ShapeScale anytime you connect to a new Wi-Fi. However, you should only need to become the admin of the device the first time you set it up.

Being the admin of your ShapeScale will tie your clients' facial recognition data to your account. In other words, this will allow the device to recognize your clients when they take scans, and automatically assign the scans to their respective client account.
